Friday 27th August

Arriving into the bridal prep room, filled with lots of excitable ladies drinking champers and chatting away I was instantly buzzing for the day ahead. Knowing the bride personally always makes it a little more special. The Green House Hotel is such a quaint boutique Hotel that hosts the most beautiful weddings. Helen, her daughter and maid of honour Liv, Mum Adrienne, Bridesmaid Nancy and flower girls Lily and Ava started their day in the room dressed perfectly in matching gowns having their hair and make up done. The flower girls found themselves sat in the bath tub that in the middle of the room having a lovely time!

Helen had arranged for Nick to arrive in a mustang which was a fab surprise and one the boys seemed to have loved! Once they arrived the guest slowly started to arrive and take their seats ready for the ceremony which started around 1pm.

Helen's Stella York wedding dress was stunning and so elegant. She looked beautiful from head to toe. Her hair was styled by Denise Howard and Make up done to perfection by Coral Jones. Her Bridesmaid's were also dressed in the most beautiful dresses that were in a lovely grey colour.

Waiting at the bottom of the stairs, Roy the proud father was ready to walk Helen down the aisle. Nick waited patiently for his Bride and his face said it all when he saw her come walking in. The ceremony was lovely, with plenty of laughs and some personalised vows. We then moved to outside and the happy couple were greeted by confetti and cheers as they stepped into married life!

Next they head into gardens for drinks, canopies and formal photos including the use of smoke grenades..... which almost burnt the brides hand off. The sun was shining and the drinks were flowing. It was a perfect afternoon. Around 3pm the group headed inside for a delicious 3 course meal. The speeches made everyone laugh and cry and the room was filled with genuine love for Nick and Helen.

The evening party was so much fun! It really felt like everyone let their hair down. They cut their cake and had their first dance to Ella Henderson's Lets go home together and the room watched on in delight. The dance floor was filled throughout the night and everyone had their dancing shoes on!

The wedding was perfect for a perfect couple and I was so thrilled to be apart of the special day and capture their memories to last a life time.
